The assignment was to create an animated video based on a personal story relating to the theme "Immigration".
This video tells the story about Hedayat, a young refugee and asylum seeker. He came to Denmark alone, 17 years old, and was facing a life at an asylum center. He wasn’t living, as he said. He spent most of his days sleeping, or simply starring at wall, dealing with depression sneaking up him. One day he told himself "no. I have to start living my life now. I can’t let the residence permit determine my happiness” He started dreaming about things In life, began studying, reading books, working out, and doing things that made him happy. Finally he opened his eyes to world. My goal was to create a very abstract interpretation of the story.
